Overview
The Ident-Ex® 02 is the smallest, lightest wireless 1D/2D barcode scanner and reader designed for hazardous areas (Zone 1/21, Zone 2/22 and Class I/II Division 1/2). German engineered with a Honeywell scan engine, it is available in multiple ergonomic variants and includes IP68 protection, Bluetooth® 5.4 and fast USB-C charging.

Configuration & Use
Multiple configurations are offered for Zone 1 (DZ1) and Zone 2 (DZ2) areas, in Flex Range and Long Range, and in Pocket, Grip, Grip+ and Smart Grip formats. The Smart Grip variant can host Smart-Ex® smartphones for integrated mobile workflows. The product supports stand-alone operation with internal battery and memory for flexible use.

Applications & Integration
The Ident-Ex 02 is intended for scanning, imaging and AutoID tasks across industries including warehousing & logistics, life sciences & pharmaceuticals (HMI version), fine chemicals, asset tracking, operator rounds and maintenance/inspection tasks. Grip+ is designed for integration with industrial HMI systems and can be charged via compatible HMI interfaces.
