The PHCbi PHCbi MCO-173AICUVHX-PE CO₂ incubator delivers a contamination-controlled, humidity-stable environment for sensitive mammalian cell cultures. It integrates an Active Humidification System for rapid humidity recovery, multi-layer contamination controls (inCu-saFe copper-enriched interior, SafeCell UV-LED decontamination) and an internal H₂O₂ sterilisation cycle. The unit is suited to biomedical workflows such as organoid and stem cell research, high-throughput screening and low-volume cultures.

Active humidification for stable culture conditions
The Active Humidification System combines heating-assisted steam generation with natural evaporation to maintain approximately 95% RH and accelerate humidity recovery after door openings, reducing medium evaporation and edge effects.

Flexible humidity control modes
  • Active Humidity Mode — maintains 80–90% RH using active humidification without water in the humidifying tray to reduce condensation risk when analytical instruments are placed inside the chamber.
  • High Humidity Mode — combines active humidification with natural evaporation from the humidifying tray to achieve stable humidity above 90% RH.
