Description

Milk is fed under pressure, through an enclosed pipe. It is then gently introduced into the bowl through a feeding pipe and the distributor. Solids subjected to the action of the centrifugal force will move towards the periphery of the bowl and accumulate in the solids space. The clarified milk rises through the disc stack, up to the centripetal pump that discharges it out through an enclosed pipe. Solids, that are subject to the action of the centrifugal force, are moved towards the periphery of the bowl, where they accumulate till the end of the production cycle. Construction design Gear drive provided with centrifugal clutch. The separator is mounted on a stainless steel trolley provided with large wheels. The trolley is provided with bubble levels to make it possible to place it in a perfectly leveled position. Skid-mounted feeding pump provided with stainless steel cover. The whole mechanics are designed to minimize the vibrations and current absorption ensuring long, maintenance-free service periods. Sturdy construction, made to ensure long-lasting operation and outstanding resistance to corrosion agents and mechanical stress. The surfaces of parts in contact with the product are accurately finished for an optimum separation efficiency and perfect cleaning. The unit is provided with a mechanical tachometer. Inlet/outlet block Product feed from the top, under pressure, through enclosed piping. Clarified product outlet under pressure, by a centripetal pump. Back pressure is adjustable through one manual valve and pressure gauge which are part of the inlet/outlet block.
