Pallet live storage systems from POLYPAL are compact racking solutions that use inclined roller lanes so pallets move downwards by gravity, enabling high-density, fast and organised pallet flow. They can be configured for FIFO (first-in/first-out) or LIFO (last-in/first-out) operation depending on storage and handling needs.

Operation modes

• FIFO: Pallets are loaded at the entry side and flow slowly and controlled along gravity lanes to the unloading point; ideal for perishable products that require perfect stock rotation. Loading and unloading use separate aisles to improve safety and throughput.
• LIFO: Loading and unloading occur from the same front aisle; pallets are pushed along rollers to fill lanes and removed in inverse order, maximising stored pallet quantity when only one aisle is used.
