The POLYPAL mobile pallet racking system consists of pallet racking mounted on motorised mobile bases that run on rails embedded in the slab, enabling very high-density palletised storage with configurable single-aisle access.

Operation and control
The system opens a single working aisle on demand via remote control or front-panel buttons. Movement is performed by electric synchronous motors with progressive acceleration and braking controlled by a frequency inverter to ensure smooth, controlled displacement.

• Single-aisle access provides entry to all pallets or loads from one opened aisle.
• Compatible with standard counterbalance, reach and conventional forklifts; no specialised handling equipment required.
• Maximises usable warehouse volume — ideal where floor cost is high or where capacity must be increased without expanding the building (suitable for cold rooms/freezers).
• Modular: can be fitted with adjustable pallet racking, shelving or cantilever systems to suit different load types and storage needs.

Construction and components

• Platforms consist of wheel chassis (motorised or passive) and beams with hot-rolled laminated profiles for high impact resistance.
• Each chassis incorporates an individual safety device; combined with general site safety systems and a central computerized controller, this prevents accidents during warehouse operations.
• Available with painted or galvanized finishes and standard 50 mm pitch compatibility.
