The SWL piston pumps are specifically designed for stripping duties, pumping out bilge water and for drainage purposes. The pumps are compactly built and display superior suction ability. The casing is engineered to facilitate smooth, glitch-free suctioning and minimal pressure pulsations. Owing to the nature of the applications they work in, the pumps are structured from specially chosen materials to provide excellent resilience to corrosion, water and oil, rendering them extremely reliable in marine applications. The pumps also incorporate low operating velocities for the same reason. The pumps can efficiently handle capacities of 5 m3/min. Their maximum operating pressure is 4.5 bar and maximum operating temperature is 60°C. They are suited to working with sea water, oil-containing bilge, etc.
