Overview
The ABS hopper scale is designed for automatic in-line (process) weighing of free-flowing dry granular products (e.g. grains). When paired with the I410 ABS terminal it operates as a discontinuous totalizer for non-constant batch weighings. The unit’s straightforward mechanical design facilitates installation, adjustment and maintenance.

Construction and principle
The ABS in-line weighbridge comprises two main assemblies:

• Filling section mounted beneath the upstream product feed hopper; models offer 1–4 filling nozzles to match feed requirements.
• Weighing hopper supported on four load cells fixed to a rectangular metal frame. The frame bears on the floor or supporting structure. Depending on model, the weighing hopper has 1–4 discharge nozzles.
