Overview
The Manusa EI fire resistant automatic sliding door combines the functionality and aesthetics of an automatic sliding door with fire‑resistant properties to separate and protect different areas in case of fire. Recommended for separating areas with a high fire risk and preventing the spread of fire and smoke to other areas.

Main features

• Designed as a glass bi‑parting or side‑opening automatic sliding door with fire door properties.
• Completely tested and compliant with relevant fire resistance certificates and standards.
• Sealing system using highly resistant flame‑retardant and/or intumescent materials.
• Possibility of being connected to a fire alarm system.
• Can be fitted with tempered glass incorporating a highly‑resistant intumescent gel to provide fire performance.

Configurations and operation

• Available opening types: bi‑parting (two leaves), single slide (single leaf) and variants with one or two fixed leaves.
• Suitable for both bi‑parting and single slide arrangements; available in two and four leaves where required.

Available classification types

• Classification E30 (integrity): prevents the passage of flames or gases to the unexposed surface of the door for 30 minutes.
• Classification EI60 (integrity and insulation): prevents the passage of flames, smoke, gases and significant heat transfer to the unexposed surface of the door for 60 minutes.

Certifications & testing
The product range has been fully tested and meets the certificates in accordance with applicable fire resistance standards for the listed classifications.

Installation & compatibility

• Can be integrated with Manusa operators compatible with EI fire rated applications (operator variants such as Visio+ EI are referenced for these doors).
• Designed for installation in walls/partitions with sufficient load‑bearing capacity and on smooth, level floors; must be installed by qualified/authorised technicians to guarantee correct performance and compliance with standards.
