OverviewSpanGuard® retractable mesh safety barriers separate and define large work areas, walkways and loading-dock interiors while allowing controlled access when needed. The system stores the mesh curtain inside a self-contained cylinder and is designed for flexible relocation to accommodate changing facility layouts.
Benefits- Separation: Clearly defines work zones and pedestrian routes.
- Prevention: Diverts material handling traffic and reduces unintended access.
- Modular: Usable in straight runs or corners; configurable for layout changes.
- Communication: Provides highly visible delineation of restricted areas.
- Restriction: Limits access to hazardous or sensitive zones.
- Efficiency: Improves site organization and helps maintain operational focus.
Design and PerformanceThe system consists of a retractable mesh curtain stored in a self-contained cylinder. It is removable and relocatable for temporary or permanent layout adjustments. SpanGuard® is engineered for light-duty impact protection and is rated to absorb and distribute energy from light in-plant vehicle collisions. Multiple post and latching kit configurations are available; each post uses four anchors for secure installation.
