Safety gates system RacKeeper®

Overview
RacKeeper® is a rack-supported mezzanine safety gate designed to provide continuous edge protection for elevated work areas such as multilevel pick modules and mezzanines. The system enables safe transfer of goods between the mezzanine and the floor while preventing unguarded openings.

Safety and compliance

• OSHA. Meets OSHA 1910.28(b)(1) for walking-working surfaces 4'0" (1200 mm) or more above a lower level; supports toeboard use per OSHA 1910.29(k)(1).
• ANSI. Complies with ANSI requirements preventing unguarded openings on elevated surfaces.
• IBC. Conforms to IBC 1015.2 for guard location and height on open-sided walking surfaces.

Design & operation
RacKeeper® installs within existing pallet racking to create a controlled access zone. Inner and outer gates are mechanically linked so they cannot both be open simultaneously, preventing exposure of the leading edge. The system runs on a 3" (75 mm) track with nylon rollers for smooth reciprocating motion and requires no chains or cables.
