Overview
The Safe-T-Gate™ Vertical Barrier is a cost-effective vertical pivot lift personnel gate that provides quick, controlled pedestrian access and defines protected work areas. Use the gate standalone to separate walkways or integrate it with guardrail and vehicle restraint systems to create continuous protected routes within industrial facilities.

Safety
Engineered primarily to separate pedestrians from in-plant vehicle traffic rather than to stop heavy vehicles. The gate deters vehicle entry and absorbs minor impacts with minimal damage. It is rated to stop up to 1,000 lbs under minor impact and helps support compliance with common workplace guardrail and wall-opening protection requirements (e.g., OSHA guidelines).

Design & Operation
The gate uses a counterbalance system that reduces the manual force required to operate, maintaining an upward bias in the raised position and a downward bias in the lowered position for stable, repeatable operation. Components and hardware are designed for durable, high-cycle use in busy warehouse and production environments.
