Product overviewThe digital output module romod 4DO-R eco controls four lighting circuits or other digital actuators via bistable relay outputs. Each relay provides a normally open contact accessible at the terminals. Outputs can be configured to a defined safe state after loss of valid Modbus telegrams with a common timeout. A configurable minimum delay between switching operations reduces system disturbances. The module connects to the bus via RS485 and uses Modbus RTU for communication.

Installation & configurationPower and signal connections are made via screw terminals. Addressing, baud rate and Modbus parameters (8-N-1) are configured per module and stored in internal EEPROM. Follow the manual for addressing, maximum number of modules on a Modbus master interface and safe-state configuration.
