The Santon E-type Switch Disconnect is Santon’s heaviest switch within the range of loose switches. It is developed for usage in professional pv-installations and switches high amount of Direct Current up to 1000 V DC and 250 Amp up to 4 poles. Because of the modulair design it can be build into new or existing installations easily. The Santon E-Type Switch Disconnect is equipped with several features for increasing safety. It is fingersafe-IP20 and has a double break wiping action contact system that ensures minimal contact wear. In addition, the ON/OFF position is clear indicated on both handle and switch. Door interlocking is provided by the handle.The design of the switch provides a direct connection on the switch terminals and is expandable with auxiliary switches and motor drive. The switch is available in version up to six decks and 250 Amp.
