Third-rail current collectors for metro, subway and monorail vehicles, designed to provide continuous electrical contact and safe power transmission into the vehicle. Constructed from high-grade materials to withstand heavy-duty operating conditions. Typical current transmission is approx. 1000 A at 700 V. Protective measures against flying sparks and insulating shields (Arc Shield) are available. The product family includes both spring-operated and pneumatically operated systems, with mounting options that vary by model.
