Third-rail current collector with an integrated, weatherproof fuse box designed for metro, subway and monorail vehicles. The fuse box is made from approved materials suitable for railway applications and protects sensitive on-board electronics and cabling against electrical faults while shielding fuses from mechanical stress such as shocks and vibrations. Fuses are accessible and replaceable without disconnecting cables.

Functional details
Optional indicator switches provide visual or electrical signals when a fuse has blown and requires replacement. The fuse box can be installed as a separate subsystem mounted to the bogie independently of the current collector, or supplied as a compact unit integrated with the current collector. Cable entry and routing are executed according to the customer's specifications.
