OverviewDepot charging with automated current collectors enables vehicles of different heights to be docked in the vehicle depot within seconds. The charging process happens overnight to avoid large short-term power draws. The system is compact and cost-efficient, designed for depot integration.
Key Features- Charging time: gentle continuous charging (overnight depot charging)
- Charging power: 200 kW standard (higher power on request)
- Set-up principle: Top-Down (inverted pantograph)
- Charging concepts: Depot Charging and Opportunity Charging
Applications — Depots, Gas Stations or other Private AreasInverted charging systems can be installed at vehicle depots, service stations or other private sites to provide electric intercity buses with an uncomplicated charging option and extended range. Using high-power charging up to 600 A continuously at 1,000 Vdc (600 kW), vehicles can receive up to 150 kWh within about 10 minutes, suitable for quick turnarounds. The system is automated and wireless, eliminating cables and plugs.
Extended Charging Modes- High-power charging: up to 600 kW
- Charging concepts: Opportunity Charging, Flash Charging
Advantages- Vehicles can park with positional tolerance; an automatic signal establishes the connection to the charging unit
