Description

Z-LINK2 is an 869 MHz radio device designed for transparent radio remonetization of communications operating with the ModBUS RTU protocol and exploiting the physical layer of LoRa (Long Range) transmission technology. Z-LINK2 enables the communication between Z-PC series I/O modules and ModBUS devices based on a UHF radio modem. Z-LINK2 is characterized by easy wiring of the power supply and serial bus via the CEI EN 60715 omega rail bus. The module is easily configured via DIP switches or "EASY SETUP" PC software. It also features 2 serial ports (1 RS232, 1 RS485) and an isolation level of 1,500 V between communication and power supply. Compliant with ETSI standards and the AES 128 bit dynamic data encryption protocol, Z-LINK2 can work in the bridge, repeater, and remote I/O modes with point-to-point and point-to-multipoint connections. LoRa technology enables the radio modem to achieve high coverage (up to 1 km with an external antenna), 25 mW transmission power, enhanced interference immunity, and high sensitivity.
