USB-ISO is a compact isolator 5 V - 1 A useful for the correct isolation of your USB instrument with the PC. With this device, your instrument will remain isolated from signal impurities derived from the USB socket of the PC, vice versa the PC will remain isolated from any ground loops that could affect the communication port. USB-ISO is galvanically isolated in 2 ways up to 2.5 kVac and has a status LED for the presence of power supply. USB-ISO is equipped with USB port (towards the instrument), micro-USB port (for external power supply) and miniUSB port (towards the PC). The use of this galvanic isolator is mandatory in cases where you need to connect the USB calibrator to a circuit that has a ground connection or in cases where you need to connect more than one calibrator to the same circuit at the same time. USB-ISO is bundled with a USB-AMicroUSB cable for communication with your workstation PC and a USB-AMiniUSB cable for power supply. Note1: For use with the MSC calibrator it is mandatory to use the power supply and cable supplied with the calibrator. Note2: For use with a generic USB device it is necessary to purchase/to use a 230V - 5V-1A power supply with USB port and a USB-AMiniUSB or USB-AMicroUSB cable depending on the specifications of the device to be protected.
