The PSS-TL workshop press is the ideal solution for a wide range of mechanical operations. Designed to maximize efficiency, it is perfect for straightening sheet metal, deforming metals or for assembly and disassembly of mechanical components. Equipped with a piston with a stroke of 350 mm, the PSS-TL integrates a hydraulic power unit with a single speed under 6 mm/sec. This model is therefore suitable for those mechanical workshops that make sporadic use of the electro-hydraulic press and that do not need either a high cylinder descent speed (as is instead available in the PSS and PSS-NC models) or a slower working speed to increase precision in the pressing phases. The PSS-TL press is characterised by its monolithic steel structure which guarantees excellent resistance even to the highest pressures and the wide front opening greatly facilitates the positioning of long or wide pieces. In addition, the PSS-TL's hollow work surface offers the flexibility needed to work on materials with height constraints. For additional support, a work support table is available as an option. The lifting of the work platform occurs by connecting chains to the eyebolts positioned in correspondence with the hydraulic cylinder, while the locking is ensured by steel pipes that eliminate any unwanted movement. The PSS-TL workshop press is also available in the version with a movable cylinder with transverse movement. This optional function is particularly useful because it allows the cylinder to be moved laterally and positioned with absolute precision on the exact point of the workpiece, eliminating the need to move the material. All this translates into considerable time savings and optimization of the processing. The piston is moved manually using a handle positioned on the cylinder flange, and once the optimal position has been identified, the cylinder can be locked firmly using a special knob that slides along a pre-drilled metal grid. As an optional alternative, the cylinder can be moved transversally using a handwheel. The flange slides along a rack and can be stopped at any point. This variant makes piston movement much easier and more precise than the standard handle version.
