OverviewThe SIL12 winding machine is designed to produce wire-type radial windings for cast-resin transformers. It is suitable for manufacturing windings for transformers up to 1250 kVA at 24 kV and for production environments requiring concentric radial coils.
Operating principleTurns are preformed by a variable-geometry capstan that generates concentric coils. The capstan is positioned at the top and releases the turns, which by gravity settle at the lower level, forming layers that grow along the Y axis. The machine supports controlled layering and repeatable winding patterns.
Key benefits- Significant reduction of winding cycle times
- Improved thermal dissipation due to radial layer geometry
- Low level of partial discharge for high-voltage windings
Applications and compatibilitySpecifically developed for radial windings in cast-resin transformers up to 1250 kVA / 24 kV. Suitable for workshop production and integration in automated manufacturing lines. Compatible with standard wire feeders and tension-control systems.
Options and accessoriesAvailable options include different capstan geometries, programmable tension control, bobbin supports and interfaces for PLC/HMI integration to adapt the machine to specific production requirements.
