IntroductionThe HATF harmonic servo rotary actuators integrate a face-contact flange to enable mounting when end-face installation is not possible. They accept harmonic drives (frames 11–58) and provide rated torque from 4 N·m to 1200 N·m. Multi-turn absolute encoders with Tamagawa protocol are available (single-turn 17-bit / multi-turn 16-bit or single-turn 23-bit / multi-turn 16-bit); dual-encoder configurations optional.
Key benefits- Integrated flange evenly distributes axial and radial loads across the face, improving load support and resistance to vibration and impact.
- Face-contact mounting reduces shaft alignment requirements and speeds up assembly.
- Flange functions as a positioning reference, reducing alignment and calibration effort during assembly.
- Modular design enables individual module removal by loosening bolts, simplifying maintenance and minimizing downtime.
Technical highlights- Supported harmonic drive frames: 11, 14, 17, 20, 25, 32, 40, 50, 58.
- Rated torque: 4 N·m — 1200 N·m; peak torque varies by configuration.
- Example reduction ratios: 51, 81, 101, 121, 161 (varies by model and configuration).
- Rated and max speeds, currents, torque constants and accuracies vary by model (see datasheet for full tables).
- Hollow shaft diameters (examples): ø9 mm — ø50 mm depending on model.
- Mass range (without brake): ~1.17 kg — ~32 kg; with brake where applicable slightly higher.
