Description

Product Overview
KLC ClearView UAV‑Spec flexible heaters are ultra‑thin polyimide (PI) heating elements designed to prevent lens fogging and icing on UAV and aerospace cameras and LiDAR windows. At a minimum thickness of 0.22 mm and a wide input range (3.3–48 V DC), they enable low‑mass, low‑power anti‑icing/defogging integration into gimbal housings, FPV optics and sensor ports.

Key Benefits
  • Ultra‑light profile (0.22 mm) — adds negligible mass and preserves gimbal balance and flight endurance.
  • Low power draw — etched‑foil PI heater geometry for efficient heat transfer and reduced battery load.
  • Fast anti‑icing response — prevents ice accretion during rapid altitude or atmospheric changes to maintain image fidelity.
  • Custom geometric fit — bespoke ID/OD designs for gimbals, LiDAR apertures and FPV lenses.

Performance
Engineered to maintain optical performance and sensor integrity down to -40 °C. Suitable for surveillance, delivery, SAR, precision agriculture mapping and autonomous LiDAR inspection missions.
