Overview
The MANTARAY portable area-velocity flow meter is engineered for accurate flow surveys in open channels, partially full sewer pipes and surcharged conduits. Suitable for stormwater, sewage, irrigation and natural streams, it measures level and velocity to compute flow and total volume.

Ultrasonic hydrodynamic level and velocity sensor
A submerged Doppler ultrasonic sensor continuously measures channel velocity and level. The sealed sensor resists fouling, corrosion and abrasion. Real-time flow rate and total are shown on a large backlit LCD. Data can be logged and exported via USB; 4-20 mA and relay outputs allow integration with samplers, SCADA and telemetry systems.

Portable flow monitor for partially filled pipes & open channels
Using the area-velocity method, the MANTARAY calculates flow after entering the pipe diameter or channel dimensions. The ultrasonic sensor mounts inside the pipe or on the channel bottom with the included stainless steel bracket and a single screw—no special tools or compounds required. The sensor is fully sealed with no orifices or ports.
