Overview The INA219 is a current shunt and power monitor with an I2C- or SMBus-compatible interface. The device measures shunt voltage drop and bus supply voltage with programmable conversion times and digital filtering. A programmable calibration value and internal multiplier enable direct current readouts in amperes; an additional multiplying register calculates power in watts. The I2C/SMBus interface supports 16 programmable addresses. The INA219 is offered in two accuracy grades, A and B (B = higher accuracy). It senses across shunts on buses from 0 to 26 V and operates from a single 3 to 5.5 V supply, drawing up to 1 mA. Operating temperature range: −40 °C to 125 °C.
