Description

Overview
The OPA2333 is a dual, zero‑drift CMOS operational amplifier featuring a proprietary auto‑calibration technique that delivers very low offset (10 µV max) and near‑zero drift over time and temperature. Designed for low‑voltage, low‑power applications, it provides high‑impedance inputs with a common‑mode range about 100 mV beyond the rails and rail‑to‑rail outputs that swing within approximately 50 mV of the rails.

Family description
The OPAx333 family offers superior ADC driver behaviour by avoiding crossover distortion typical of complementary input stages, preserving differential linearity. The single OPA333 and dual OPA2333 are available in several miniature packages; all devices are specified for operation from −40 °C to 125 °C and support single‑ or dual‑supply operation from 1.8 V to 5.5 V.

Key features
  • Very low offset voltage: 10 µV (max)
  • Near‑zero offset drift: 0.05 µV/°C (max)
  • Low frequency noise (0.01–10 Hz): 1.1 µVpp
  • Low quiescent current: 17 µA per channel (typ)
  • Single‑supply operation from 1.8 V to 5.5 V
  • Rail‑to‑rail input and output (RRIO)
  • High input impedance and extended common‑mode range
  • Available in micro packages (VSON, SOIC, VSSOP, SC70, SOT‑23)

Parameters (selected)
  • Number of channels: 2 (dual)
  • Supply voltage range: 1.8 V to 5.5 V
  • Offset voltage (Vos, 25 °C, max): 10 µV (0.01 mV)
  • Offset drift (typ): 0.02 µV/°C
  • Input bias current (max): 200 pA
  • Gain‑bandwidth product (GBW, typ): 0.35 MHz
  • Slew rate (typ): 0.16 V/µs
  • Quiescent current per channel (typ): 17 µA (0.017 mA)

  • CMRR (typ): 130 dB
  • Output drive (Iout, typ): 5 mA
  • Operating temperature: −40 °C to 125 °C
  • Architecture: CMOS, auto‑calibrated zero‑drift
  • Input common‑mode headroom: approx. −0.1 V to +0.1 V beyond rails
  • Output swing headroom: ≈ ±0.03–0.05 V to rails

Packages (examples)
Common packages for the OPA2333 include 8‑pin VSON (3×3 mm), 8‑pin SOIC, and 8‑pin VSSOP; single OPA333 is available in smaller 5‑pin packages such as SOT‑23 or SC70.

Applications / Suitable uses
  • Precision, low‑power sensor front‑ends
  • ADC driver stages requiring low offset and low drift
  • Battery‑powered and low‑voltage systems
  • High‑precision amplification in space‑constrained designs
