OverviewThe OPA2134 is a dual FET-input audio operational amplifier from the OPAx134 family, specified for low distortion and low-noise audio applications. It features a true FET input stage, wide output swing (to within ~1 V of the rails), unity-gain stability and stable operation with capacitive loads. Available in single, dual and quad variants and in PDIP, SOIC and SO-14 packages. SPICE macromodels and reference designs are provided for design validation.
Key features- Burr-Brown™ Audio processing; audio-optimized FET-input architecture
- Ultra-low distortion: THD+N typ. 0.00008% at 1 kHz
- Low noise: Vn typ. 8 nV/√Hz at 1 kHz
- True FET input: low input bias current (IB ≈ 5 pA typ.)
- High speed: slew rate typ. 20 V/µs; GBW typ. 8 MHz
- Wide supply range: single or dual operation, ±2.5 V to ±18 V (total supply 5 V to 36 V)
- Unity-gain stable; low crosstalk in dual/quad due to independent channel circuitry
Product detailsThe device is unity-gain stable and specified for operation from –40 °C to +85 °C. Dual and quad versions use independent channels to minimize crosstalk and preserve stable dynamic behavior across a range of loads, including high capacitive loads. Typical packaging: 8-pin PDIP and SOIC for single/dual; SO-14 for quad. SPICE models and reference simulation files (PSpice/TINA-TI) support system-level simulation and validation.
