OverviewThe LM393 is a dual voltage comparator (B-version LM393B / LM2903B available) comprising two independent comparators designed for single‑supply operation over a wide voltage range. B‑version devices provide improved offset, lower input bias and supply currents, reduced propagation delay and enhanced ESD robustness (2 kV HBM) via dedicated clamps. Quiescent current is largely independent of supply voltage.
