Gaskets for the 579A are customized to specific coupling sizes intended for easy and consistent installation. The smallest sizes, including 1-1/4” (DN32) and 1-1/2” (DN40), utilize a powder-lubricated gasket; the mid-range and large sizes, including 2-inch (DN50) through 8-inch (DN200), utilize a self-lubricating gasket.
