Product overviewThis winch with Honda petrol engine no longer uses a V-belt drive but a positive drive with a freewheeling rope drum. The winch is mainly used to blow pilot ropes through cable protection ducts and subsequently to pull in larger winch pull ropes. It can also pull smaller cables, e.g. fiber optic cables, subducts (microducts) or power cables. The split rope drum is quick and easy to replace. Rope capacity up to 1100 m Ø 4 mm or 750 m Ø 5 mm. Mounted on two pneumatic wheels in a wheelbarrow layout, the winch is mobile.
Versions / measuring and recording devicesThe winch is available in two versions: with a dynamometer with adjustable maximum load and automatic shut-off, or with preparation for the electronic recorder MP 50 (not included), which digitally displays and stores pull force, length and speed in m/min. Via a USB port all data can be transferred to a PC or laptop. For safety reasons the winch is limited to 5.0 kN on the lowest rope layer.
Safety and accessoriesThe pilot rope winches are equipped with a hand rope guiding device and a rope protection hood in accordance with accident prevention regulations. The winch with dynamometer can, at extra cost, be fitted with a mechanical length measuring device (code 232380, SLM 510). The electronic recorder includes length and speed measurement.
Note- The types SBS 510DL and 510ML operate at half speed and are particularly suitable for sensitive cable pulling operations.
