Description

The automation of processes has become almost a necessity for the continuity of high-volume production operations and quality process management. Additionally, fully automated systems offer innovative approaches with versatile advantages such as sterilization, time savings, and labor efficiency. VISIOTT TPS’s innovative product, the Syringe Assembly Station SAS-100, is designed to assemble a critical component of syringes, known as the plunger, which is one of the biggest needs in the healthcare industry. Due to its robotic attachment and full automation, it successfully maintains the sterilization, a prerequisite for syringes. The most fascinated side of SAS-100 is its multi-functional and customizable architecture. As a member of the TPS family, even though it is mainly built for the preparation of syringes, the admirable design of SAS-100 is equipped with the ability to apply labelling and serialization implementation as a plus, if required. Syringe Assembly Station works in the most ideal way. Within the industry, parts referred to as rotors, plungers, or pistons initially arrive at the feeding hopper and then proceed to the circular vibratory bowl from there. After aligning the pistons automatically, the grippers controlled by robotics hold them in sequence. The filling hoppers of the syringes advancing from the other channel are placed on a star wheel controlled by a servo motor. The gripper conveyor that holds the pistons places them in the aligned syringe hopper, and the assembly is completed by automatically rotating the hopper with a reel.
