Description

GEHO® Heat Barrier pumps are crankshaft-driven, positive displacement piston diaphragm pumps that are designed to process high temperature, acidic, abrasive and corrosive slurries. Our range of GEHO® Heat Barrier piston diaphragm pumps are designed to feed high temperature, acid, abrasive or corrosive slurries into high -pressure autoclave processes, with temperatures up to 240° Celsius. Frequently used in mining, typical applications include transporting autoclave feed, digester feed and process feed, especially gold, lithium and nickel slurries. These positive displacement pumps are available as either a crankshaft driven, two-cylinder, double-acting pump or as a three-cylinder, single-acting pump. GEHO® Heat Barrier pumps offer the following benefits: Made from a resilient, robust, single piece power frame with low stress levels High availability Contain pre-loaded, long life roller bearings to ensure operation at rated duty conditions and low speed Contain a heat barrier with cooling jacket and separator to limit diaphragm temperature and connect the diaphragm housing to the valve blocks Contain preformed diaphragms with PLC controlled positioning to ensure high pump reliability and annual routine diaphragm replacement The diaphragm protects the piston and cylinder liner from abrasive slurry contact and wear Contain a free floating separator that oscillates with each pump stroke and acts as a mechanical barrier to minimise heat transfer loss and reduce colling requirements The level-controlled suction and discharge air vessel minimises flow and pressure fluctuations Hydraulic valve seat removal allows for quick replacement of valves
