Description

Product Introduction
The UHV-406 Double-Grounded Circuit Breaker Analyzer performs precise mechanical characteristic measurements for high-voltage circuit breakers (oil-minimum, oil-bulk, vacuum, SF6) across voltage levels. The Double-Grounded Circuit Breaker Analyzer captures time, velocity, travel and coil parameters needed for condition assessment, dynamic analysis and fault diagnosis of breakers in substation and field environments.

Technical parameters
  • Time measurement: supports 12 natural switching times; measures phase differences between opening/closing; bounce counts. Test ranges: 1 ms–99 ms (0.01 ms); 1 ms–999 ms (0.01 ms internal trigger); 1000 ms–9999 ms (0.1 ms); 10000 ms–200000 ms (1 ms). External trigger range: 0.01 ms–200 s. Accuracy (≤1000 ms): 0.05% ± 0.1 ms.
  • Velocity measurement: instantaneous separation/closing velocity and average velocity over stroke or angle segments. Ranges by sensor: 0.1 mm sensor 0.01–20.00 m/s; 345° angle sensor 0.01–20.00 m/s; laser sensor 0.01–15.00 m/s.
  • Travel measurement: moving contact stroke, contact open distance, over-travel, overshoot/rebound. Ranges: linear sensor 0–50 mm (resolution 0.1 mm); rotating sensor 0–1000 mm (resolution 0.08°) with ~15° invalid sector and ~160–200° effective installation area; acceleration sensor 0–300 mm (resolution 0.1 mm).
  • Coil current: max 20 A, resolution 0.01 A. Coil resistance: 0–2000 Ω, resolution 0.01 Ω.
  • Power: instrument AC 220 V ±10%, 50 Hz ±10%. DC output: DC 6–270 V adjustable; short-time outputs DC 24 V ≤15 A, DC 220 V ≤20 A.
  • External trigger: AC/DC 10–300 V, current ≤120 A.
  • Isolation switch functions: adjustable DC output 6–270 V; configurable power output time 0.01–20 s; max fracture-signal acquisition time 200 s; measures closing/opening times, three-phase time differences, bounce time and counts.
  • Environmental and dimensions: mainframe 400 × 263 × 175 mm; operating temperature −20°C to +50°C; relative humidity ≤ 90%.

Scope of application of circuit breaker analyzer
  • The high-voltage switch dynamic characteristic tester is suitable for various types of high-voltage switches, including circuit breakers, isolating switches, and grounding switches. It can be used for the construction, maintenance, and troubleshooting of power systems.

Daily Maintenance of Circuit Breaker Test Set
  • 1. This Double-Grounded Circuit Breaker Analyzer is a precision and valuable device. Please keep it properly during use to prevent heavy drops and impacts. When using outdoors, try to operate under shade as much as possible to avoid the LCD screen being exposed to direct sunlight for a long time.
  • 2.When the Double-Grounded Circuit Breaker Analyzer is not in use, it should be stored at a temperature of -10 to 40 degrees Celsius. C Indoor environment with relative humidity not exceeding 80%, ventilation, and no corrosive gases. In humid seasons, if not in use for a long time, it is best to turn on the electricity once a month for about 1 hour each time.

Precautions of Circuit Breaker Dynamic Characteristic Analyzer
  • 1. Before using the Double-Grounded Circuit Breaker Analyzer, please first ground it reliably to ensure personal and instrument safety.
  • 2. Before using the instrument, please check if the power supply is AC 220V, otherwise it may damage the instrument.
  • 3. The instrument has an internal output of 220V DC current during operation, please pay attention to safety.
  • 4. When using an internal DC power supply to control the opening and closing of the switch, please carefully check the control wiring before the test. Short circuits are strictly prohibited to avoid damaging the internal DC power supply or control contacts.
  • 5. The connection of each fracture line must be good to avoid affecting the test data due to switch vibration.
  • 6. There is 220V voltage inside the instrument, please do not open the casing.
