Description

Overview
The UHV-H200P is a portable, high-precision contact (loop) resistance tester for measuring contact resistance of high- and low-voltage circuit breakers, DC resistance of cables and other low-resistance applications that require high test currents and high resolution. It combines continuous large-current output with advanced digital sampling to deliver repeatable micro-/milli-ohm measurements.

Main features
  • Continuous large-current output (50 A, 100 A, 150 A, 200 A) to break contact oxide films and stabilise results.
  • Stable LCD readings with good repeatability even under electromagnetic interference.
  • High resolution via dual-channel 16-bit Σ-Δ A/D sampling and digital signal processing.
  • Intelligent control: automatic range switching and over-temperature protection that stops output if safety limits are exceeded.
  • Temperature compensation circuitry and robust connectors to reduce environmental and vibration effects.
  • Configurable test durations (5 s–599 s) and multiple fixed current outputs to match test procedures.
  • Touch-enabled user interface, on-device date/time settings, real-time saving and printing of measurement results.
  • USB (U-disk) data export for transfer to PC software and further analysis.
  • Compact, portable design (11 kg without accessories) for field use.

Typical applications
  • Contact resistance testing on high- and low-voltage circuit breakers.
  • Loop resistance measurements on switchgear, busbars and connectors.
  • DC resistance testing of cables and joints.
  • Maintenance, commissioning and acceptance tests in substations and industrial electrical installations.

Product Advantages:
  • 1. Ensure the safe operation of equipment: An increase in circuit resistance is the main cause of equipment overheating or even burning out. This instrument can directly detect this hidden danger and prevent it from developing into a major safety accident due to poor contact.
  • 2. High precision and strong anti-interference ability: Adopting the DC voltage drop method recommended by national standards (such as 100A constant current source), it can effectively overcome the interference of contact potential, accurately measure micro ohm level (μ Ω) resistance, and the results are reliable.
  • 3. Improve operation and maintenance efficiency: The testing process is fast and simple, which can intuitively and quantitatively reflect the connection quality, provide accurate data support for status maintenance, avoid blind disassembly and excessive maintenance, and significantly improve work efficiency.

Function:
  • 1. Detecting circuit connectivity: The circuit resistance tester can help users detect the connectivity of the circuit. By measuring the resistance values between various electrical components in the circuit, it is determined whether there are short circuits, open circuits, and other issues in the circuit, thereby determining the connectivity of the circuit;
  • 2. Evaluate the status of electrical equipment: The circuit resistance tester can evaluate the status of electrical equipment. It can measure the resistance values of various electrical components in the circuit, determine whether there are faults or potential faults in the electrical equipment, and ensure the normal operation of the equipment;
  • 3. Detecting circuit safety: The circuit resistance tester can also help users detect the safety of the circuit. By measuring the resistance values between various electrical components in the circuit, it is possible to determine whether the wires and insulation layers in the circuit are damaged or aged, thereby avoiding line faults and safety accidents.
