Product overviewMagnetic stripe compounds are bonded ferrite magnetic powders formulated for producing magnet strips used in door gaskets and similar bonded-strip applications. Available as Bonded Barium Ferrite (BaFe12O19) and Bonded Strontium Ferrite (SrFe12O19) grades in the DXF series. Materials are produced with low moisture and stable magnetic properties and are suitable for extrusion, calendering and injection molding.
Compatibility and processingCompatible with composite matrices such as nylon, resin, PVC and rubber. Relatively large particle size provides high filling capacity and enables processing by extrusion, calendering or injection molding to form continuous magnetic strips.
DXF series — key grades and magnetic properties- DXF-2D (BaFe12O19): particle 2.0±0.4 µm; moisture ≤0.5%; Br ~145 mT; bHc ~95 kA/m; iHc ~195 kA/m; (BH)max ~3.5 KJ/m3; testing: green piece.
- DXF-2SH (SrFe12O19): particle 1.7±0.3 µm; Variant A Br ~145 mT; Variant B Br ~225 mT; bHc, iHc and (BH)max vary by variant; testing: green piece or calendering.
- DXF-3D (SrFe12O19): particle 1.80±0.20 µm; Variant A Br ~170 mT; Variant B Br ~290 mT; testing: green piece or injection.
- DXF-4D / DXF-4DH / DXF-4D2 / DXF-4D3 (SrFe12O19): particle ~1.2–1.20±0.15 µm; Br and coercivity vary by variant with (BH)max up to ~15.9 KJ/m3; testing methods include green piece, calendering and injection depending on grade.

Color, storage and processing notes- Color options: white, black, gray, light yellow, light black, porcelain white, etc.; specific hardness and PVC compound color can be made to customer requirements.
- Storage: avoid prolonged storage in humid or hot climates. Recommended maximum storage: 12 months at ≤25°C / 50% RH, and 6 months at ≤40°C / 50% RH. Keep cartons sealed and avoid long-term light exposure. Reduce storage time at higher temperature/humidity. Permissible stacking: three pallets for stationary storage.
