Product overviewThe DP3CL1 series is an open-loop EtherCAT stepper motor driver compliant with the CiA402 standard and supporting COE (CANopen over EtherCAT). It is designed for multi-axis control and supports up to 32 axes with a master-slave communication cycle reaching up to 1 ms for 32 axes. The series targets applications such as electronics manufacturing, laser systems, wire stripping/cabling machines, marking machines and plotters. The updated control algorithm improves dynamic performance, motor smoothness and reduces temperature rise.
Product features- New-generation control algorithms — improved dynamic response and smoother motor operation with reduced temperature increase.
- EtherCAT integration for high-speed communication — supports COE protocol and CiA402 standard; compatible with standard EtherCAT master/slave setups and up to 32 axes with communication cycles down to 1 ms.
- Simplified wiring and maintenance — network cable replaces traditional pulse/direction wiring; includes power and encoder lines to reduce cabling and installation effort.
- Enhanced reliability and EMI resistance — EtherCAT backbone with low bus load and point-to-point physical layer improves system robustness against interference.
- Flexible I/O — configurable 6 signal inputs and 2 signal outputs for probe, positive/negative limits, origin, alarm, brake, etc., to meet varied application needs.
- Adaptive real-time current control — current adjusts according to load and speed for smoother running and lower motor heating; supports peak speeds up to 2000 rpm when used with EtherCAT and the latest algorithm.
