OverviewThe DP3C series closed-loop bus type stepper driver complies with the CiA402 standard and supports up to 32 axes. Using EtherCAT bus communication, the master–slave cycle can reach 1 ms for a 32-axis system. Closed-loop control with encoder feedback eliminates step loss and the updated control algorithm improves dynamic performance, thermal behaviour and high-speed stability. Typical applications include electronics, laser equipment, robotic arms and photovoltaic tracking systems.
Key features- Closed-loop control using encoder feedback to compensate position deviation and eliminate step loss.
- New-generation control algorithms for smoother motion and reduced temperature rise.
- EtherCAT bus with advanced control to increase torque and improve high-speed motor performance (up to 2000 rpm, application dependent).
- Supports COE protocol and complies with CiA402; compatible with standard EtherCAT masters and up to 32 axes.
- Fast communication: master–slave cycle up to 1 ms for 32 axes.
- Simplified wiring: replaces pulse/direction lines with a network cable; integrates power and encoder lines to reduce cabling and maintenance.
- High reliability and noise immunity: low bus load and point‑to‑point physical layer reduce interference and increase system robustness.
- Rich I/O: 7 inputs and 7 outputs supporting probe, alarm, position output, positive/negative limits, origin input and brake output.
Applications- Multi-axis control systems
- Robotic arms and automation equipment
- Photovoltaic tracking and solar equipment
- Electronics manufacturing and laser processing machines
