The YG series flexo printing press range is designed for packaging and label production across paper and film substrates. These models balance high throughput and substrate versatility, making them suitable for narrow-web labels, flexible packaging and corrugated pre-printing. Selection guidance
Choose flexo for stable, high-volume production where plate costs are amortized over long runs. For short runs or variable data work, consider digital alternatives. Evaluate required registration tolerance, substrate (paper 30–300 gsm vs films), and finishing modules (lamination, die-cutting, cold foiling) when selecting between stack, unit-type or CI configurations.

Common machine types and differences

• Stack flexo: Vertical stacking of print units saves floor space and initial investment. Suitable for limited-space plants and start-ups. Multiple web turns reduce registration precision (~±0.3 mm). Typical speeds: 50–150 m/min.
• Unit-type (inline) flexo: Horizontal modular units allowing easy integration of lamination, rotary die-cutting and cold foiling. Common for narrow-web labels and adhesive tapes (web widths under 600 mm).
• Central impression (CI) flexo: Printing units arranged around a single impression cylinder to support the substrate and minimize stretch. Delivers high registration accuracy (practical up to ±0.05 mm) and high speeds (200–600 m/min), ideal for flexible packaging and plastic films.
