Since YASKAWA Electric released the first all-electric industrial robot in Japan in 1977, the MOTOMAN, we have continued to lead the international industrial robot industry.
A wide range of industrial robots has been released since, especially in our core field of welding robots, but also for handling, assembly, painting and cleanroom applications. Today, they are hard at work around the world.
We were one of the first robotics companies to work on semiconductor manufacturing technology, and the development of mechatronic equipment led to the clean/vacuum robot and wafer handling devices. We will continue to develop technology to answer the requirements of shrinking IC geometry and growing wafer size

This area is all about packing a variety of items into boxes.
It includes robot-based case packing - smaller boxes packed into larger ones, and racetrack packing - many items picked simultaneously with the aid of grippers.
In this respect ABB's new 4-axis IRB 260 is ideal for most applications not demanding full 6-axis versitality. It also features an impressive 30 kg payload capacity.
You have a choice of standard 6-axis robots depending on the conditions of each application. Furthermore, ABB's unique vision-aided conveyor tracking facilitates continuous production flows and packing on the fly.

PRESS TENDING:
Motoman’s EPH-series “Expert Press Handling” robots set a new standard for speed with large robots and are specifically designed for the rigors of press tending. EPH-series press tending robots feature payloads from 100-200 kg (220.5-441.0 lbs) and come in floor- and shelf-mounted configurations. Shelf-mounted versions allow improved clearances for ease of die changes. Large work envelopes allow EPH models to be used to tend presses with spacing from 4-7 m (13-22.9 ft).
Compared to general-purpose robots, EPH-series press tending robots feature higher performance drive systems on the S, L and U axes (axes 1, 2, 3) for high duty cycle applications. These robots also feature a high vibration rating of 9.8 m/s2 (1.0G), which is needed for the press room environment. They can also be used anywhere that high-performance handling is required.

Smart NX robot family: "best in class" for payload
The Smart NX models in the 4 and 6 axes versions are the strongest robot family in the world with payload capacity up to 800 kg and reach of more than 3,8 m.
These robots may replace hard automation devices providing a higher flexibility and reliability in heavy-duty tasks.
The Smart NX2 is a 4 axes palletizing robot: it can handle up to 800kg and represents the heart of highly flexible robotized solutions as in cell to cell transfer, warehouses, buffers, up and down-load operations, foundry, cooperative spot-welding.
Comau Robotics may supply a complete range of Robot from 6 kg to 800 kg payload for all handling and manipulating applications.

FANUC Robotics is very successful in providing solutions for heavy duty applications. With payload capacity up to 1350kg, the FANUC robots can answer the most complex demands in
• Heavy duty spot welding
• Handling of heavy work pieces
• Palletizing of complete layers
Following models can lift more than 200kg:
• The R-2000iB/210F and /250F with 210kg and 250kg payload are the strongest within the worldwide most successful robot series R-2000iB. This 6-axes robot has a wide work envelope thanks to its flip over capacity and is ideal for spot welding, machine tool loading in narrow spaces or material handling.
• The M-410iB/300, /450 and M-410iB/700 (300, 450kg and 700kg payload) are part of Europe’s most sold palletizing robot series M-410. Those 4-axes units are especially designed for palletizing operations with true 100% duty cycle
• The impressive M-900iA robots (260, 350, 400 and 600 up to 700kg payload) are the heavy weight units for applications where strength and high inertia are demanded. Their wide reach and very high payload capacity make them ideal for handling, palletizing or heavy duty welding.
• The worlds strongest robot M-2000iA/1200 can handle up to 1350kg (with SW option) and M-2000iA/900L robots can lift 900kg of payload with a reach up to 4.68 m.
|
|
|
With payloads of up to 1000 kg, these robots can e.g. handle side panels in automotive body-in-white construction or, in the palletizing variant, carry out tasks in the beverage or building materials industries.
