| The ASM series (Advanced Signal Multi-scanner) offer a great time-saving automatic solution to calibrate multiple temperature sensors at the same time. The ASM series is an eight channel scanner controlled by JOFRACAL software on a PC. Up to 3 ASM units can be stacked to calibrate up to 24 sensors at the same time. It can handle signals from 2-, 3- and 4 wire RTD’s, TC’s, transmitters, thermisters, temperature switches and voltage. |

The PS14P PoE Power Source Convenient Switch combines standard 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) with a small heavy duty 4 port Switch. Unsing an external -48VDC power source, all four of the PS14P's Ethernet ports can provide power as well as 10/100Mb data transmission over the inter-connecting Ethernet cables. The PS14P integrates both the Ethernet Switch and the PoE power function into one unit, saving cost and space, and increasing reliability for the application.
PS14P ports discontinue supplying power when the PoE (PD) devices are disconnected, and support the PSE standard for over-current protection, under-current detection and fault protection.
Increasingly, small powered devices (PD) such as IP phones, video cameras, wireless access points, digital clocks, special purpose radios, IP phones, industrial sensors and laptop computers benefit with increased installation flexibility from the PS14P's PoE-PSE capabilities.
The PS14P Switches are designed for heavy duty industrial as well as temperature uncontrolled applications. Mounting options include stand-alone panel mounting, DIN-rail, or rack-mount tray. The PS14P resists dust, dirt, moisture, smoke and insects.

The DP/DP coupler interlinks two PROFIBUS DP networks and permits data transmission between the masters and the two DP networks. The maximum size of the transmitted data is 244 bytes of input data and 244 bytes of output data. The DP/DP coupler is configured in the S7 software or by means of a GSD file.

With the TS 300, teleservice of a system can be performed via the MPI bus.
The TS 300 has a single-width S7-300 housing for mounting on the sectional rail. An analog 56k modem prepared for use in more than 80 countries is integrated into the housing of the TS 300. TAE and RJ11 cables are included in the scope of supply. As alternatives, versions with ISDN or GSM functionality are also available.
The TS 300 can establish an MPI link with the CPU via the backplane bus. The power supply is also drawn from the backplane bus. Therefore, for installation of a teleservice solution, only the phone line is required. The TS 300 does not need to be configured in the hardware configuration of the PLC and can therefore be retrofitted at any time.
Alternately, the TS 300 can be powered from an external 24 V source. The MPI connection can also be established externally via a 9-way sub D jack.
An additional USB connection is used to parameterize the TS 300, for in-situ use as a PC adapter, or for direct use of the internal modem.
The TS 300 can also be provided with a new operating system via a remote link. That enables functional expansion of a TS 300 already installed in the system. The update Software SHTools is included. |
