The Measuring Point Generator CAQ module lets you generate measuring points in the CAD module and convert them to constraints (point-vector sequences).
In addition to commands for editing the measuring points, you also get functions for transferring them to an NC measuring program and a measuring log. You can then approach these measuring points by hand on the milling machine or a coordinate inspection machine and measure their actual positions.
Tebis Surface Measuring is a stand-alone software package that provides direct comparisons between a real component and its counterpart in the CAD environment. The basic functions and measuring workstation operations closely resemble those of Tebis CAD/CAM stations, which makes it easy to integrate them into existing processes.

Communicate key characteristics and features to manufacturing, assembly and quality.
Once the solid model definition is created in NX the AIMS Metrology Application for NX is started to create a measurement plan for key characteristics and other features on parts and assemblies. The enhanced CAD file defines datums, tolerances, and specific features that need to be measured to ensure that a quality part or assembly is produced and shipped. After inspection the AIMS file contains the original geometry definition and the measurement points and deviations and their relationship to features. This updated AIMS file can be loaded back into NX for further analysis to help improve the build process.

FPS (Fuel data Processing Server) is intended for integration into vehicles and immovable objects monitoring systems software in order to process fuel level data.
Due to fuel level fluctuations, the content of noise in fuel sensors data is very high. The quality of raw data processing significantly affects the reliability and presentability of fuel information in the client’s AVL software.

With Q-DAS' popular procella SPC software, measurement and inspection data can be quickly acquired either by manual input or on-line, via the serial interface of the measuring device. On-line visualization of the acquired data enables timely detection of trends and out-of-control conditions.
The user is therefore in an excellent position to initiate timely corrective action. Data are checked against individually defined alarm thresholds (violation of tolerance or control limits) as soon as they are collected. If an alarm occurs, the operator is required to acknowledge the alarm. Actions taken, events and causes can be documented.
The user can be required to enter supplementary data (cavity, machine, batch, etc.), which allows for traceability throughout, and for object-related analysis of relevant information.
In advanced enterprise solutions, integration via an IDI interface connection with SAP/R3 QM makes it possible to load inspection lots generated by SAP into procella for data acquisition. Once the examination is completed, the acquired data are transferred back to SAP.
