STACIS® is the world's most advanced active vibration cancellation system. Employing advanced inertial vibration sensors and state-of-the-art piezoelectric actuators, STACIS® 2100 cancels vibration in real time by sensing floor vibration, then expanding and contracting piezoelectric actuators to filter out floor motion. Isolation starts at 0.6 Hz and the active bandwidth is 250 Hz.

Smaller than traditional wire rope isolators, these unique isolators provide unsurpassed multi-axis shock / vibration isolation with maximum reliability where sway space is a premium. Compact WRI are unaffected by temperature extremes and chemical exposure. Featuring a patented crimping pattern, they are ideal for lightweight applications such as disk drives, sensitive mobile electronics, medical equipment, and small pumps / motors.
|
|
Pumps may rotate or reciprocate. Rotating pumps are usually well balanced. Nevertheless their elastic support makes sense when these pumps are installed on the upper floor levels inside a building, since in this way vibration and structure borne noise can be avoided.

EGA MARINE
Initially designed to be used for marine applications
that mount is commonly used too for both
static and mobile equipment such as:
Gen-sets
Pumps
Compressors
Marine engines
Industrial engines
They are fitted with a mechanical stop or failsafe (rebound).
That machine mount allows controlling vibrations
in three directions and guarantees different degrees
of stiffness in the three main axes.
The metal cup (Cover) gives a good protection
against oils, greases and corrosion.
Natural frequencies as low as 8 Hz are possible.
There are 2 sizes in the standard range with
various degrees of rubber hardnesses.
NEW: Available in stainless steel too.
|
|
Originally designed for use with marine engines, this compact low
profile mounting is easy to install. It combines 3 way control of
the suspended equipment with relatively large static deflections
where the rubber is loaded in shear and compression.
The design incorporates bump and rebound control features
which limit excessive movements under shock loading. Top metal
cover gives protection against oil contamination and protective
finish resists corrosion attack. Propeller thrust on marine applications
is accommodated. There are four sizes in the standard range
with varying degrees of rubber hardness cater for point loads from
32 kg to 3000 kg. Natural frequencies as low as 8 Hz are possible.
Note: When used in marine engine applications with thrust forces
involved, the maximum load capacity is substantially reduced, see
table below!

INFAB™ Foundation Isolation
In some applications, it is not feasible to mount a machine directly on vibration isolators. An integral part of most machine tool installations is a properly designed foundation which will meet the machine's support requirements. Isolating a vibration-sensitive or vibration-producing machine requires isolation of its support mass or foundation.
INFAB™ elastomeric (rubber) isolators provide low frequency isolation from induced shock and vibration for applications requiring support foundations and inertia blocks. INFAB™ isolation systems can be designed to have a natural frequency as low as 6.0 Hz.
A vibration site survey/analysis will determine the levels of vibration existing at your site, which is essential for proper vibration control recommendations to be made. Please contact Fabreeka's® Engineering Department for assistance with your particular application or if you would like information regarding a vibration site survey.
Some features and benefits of INFAB™ foundation isolation:
* Standard INFAB™ isolators are available in load ranges from 1,800 lbs to 4,400 lbs per isolator
* Dynamically tested for natural frequency and damping data
* Natural frequency as low as 6.0 Hz
* Compatible with a variety of foundation structural support designs to meet project requirements
* Alternative isolator characteristics and complete system designs available
* Extensive database and history of installations and system designs

UNISORB® Novibra®¹ Anti-vibration Mounts
The Novibra® product line includes various rubber to metal bonded anti-vibration mounts. Natural rubber is used, generally loaded in a combination of shear and compression to achieve the most effective levels of vibration isolation and to ensure long life for the mounts and machinery mounted on them.
UNISORB® Novibra® Mounts are available in a wide range of shapes and sizes which vary according to the application. Many models are available from stock.

RA and EF uses the rubber profi le in shear and compression,
obtaining good vertical fl exibility with the advantage
of horizontal stability. For normal speeds of approx. 1500 rpm, the RA and EF type provides a degree of isolation
of 75-85%. For better isolation, the alternative RAEM or
M can be chosen.
Its unique construction and the latest production methods
make Novibra® type RA and EF a high performance
mounting having a number of advantages:
• Rubber features are utilised effectively combining
compression and shear.
• Wide load rating options, 40-2100 kg.
• Corrosion protected to cope with arduous environments
on land or marine applications (Fe/Zn8C as per ISO
2081).
• Fitted as standard with an integral fail-safe design device
with resilient stop, making RA and EF ideal for use in
mobile or marine applications. The RA/EF-mounts can
accomodate occasional shock loads to 5 g reference to the
weight in hardness 60° IRH. The mount will withstand
shock loads up to 2 g without plastic deformation.
• Clear and durable product marking so that mountings
can be identifi ed even after several years in operation.
• Domed shape cover to protect against oil contamination.

3) Re-enforced concrete foundation block.*
4) Farrat FSL springs.

* Reinforced concrete foundation blocks and associated structures to be designed by qualified consulting engineers and constructed by contractors of proven ability and experience.
FSL Steel Springs can be used either on their own on in tandem with FV dampers. Where the system in likely to go through resonance and excessive movement is a concern it is recommended that FV dampers are used in conjunction with FSL springs. FSL steel springs can be employed in a variety of combinations and support arrangements, Farrat will design isolation systems to meet a customers specific technical requirements. To assist our customers in the smooth running of every project Farrat provide construction drawings and installation instructions with all FSL springs supplied.

While hot forming machine tools (hammers, screw presses) use high kinetic energy for the metal forming, where part of this energy is dissipated into the ground causing there rather high vibration levels, however, in case of the cold forming process it is the sudden release of the stresses - built up in the press frame during the pressing operation - when cutting through the material (blanking).
In both cases GERB can provide special Spring-Viscodamper® combinations, which allow today direct spring support of the equipment whereas in the past quite massive foundations were necessary.
