MAGNABOSCO AUTOCLAVES is a branch of MAGNABOSCO ENGINEERING GROUP
founded in 1960 by Mr. Giuseppe Magnabosco.
The carbon-fibre autoclaves manufactured by our company are the realization of
many studies and researches followed for a long period, focusing especially on heating
process, temperature uniformity, autoclave pressurization and vacuum system.
The first autoclave was built in 1963 and total units manufactured till January 2008
is over 1500, whose more than 300 are for composite materials. We produce some
versatile machines, allowing different types of working, by changing temperatures,
pressures and times very easily.

Textile Industry
The original historical sector that LAGARDE® specialised
in and made its reputation Steaming standard autoclaves
of diameters between & 1300 and 1600 and a length adapted to your requirements
Other possibilities created upon specificities
Various applications
- Thermo-fixing of twisted yarns;
- Retraction of synthetic fibres ;
- Preservation of the shape of hosiery items;
- Preservation of dyes and printed designs- Humidity control and moisture recovery
- Two principals of steaming depending on goals researched
Classic steaming process
After an initial vacuum to vent the air excess present in the chamber and to aide the penetration of the steam in the textile material, a direct injection of steam allows the steaming of the textiles in an atmosphere saturated steam.
Steam injection is controlled along with the programmed temperature settings. During the temperature come-up time, an internal exchanger allows the steam to be heated and limits the production of condensation.
Intermediate vacuums to accelerate the penetration of the steam can be programmed. After the steaming, a final vacuum allows the textiles to be cooled and eliminates any excess humidity.
This principal can be used for all textile fibres: natural, artificial, synthetic and mixed.
Steaming process with moisture recovery
After an initial vacuum to vent the air excess present in the chamber and to aide the penetration of the steam in the textile material, a volume of water stored in the bottom of the autoclave is heated by “BUBBLING” or by electrical heaters.

HMT Series
All HMT steam sterilizers are manufactured at a modern plant using state-of-the-art processes and technologies. All units comply with the Pressure Equipment Directive and all applicate European standards and regulations and bear the CE mark.
While in the case of HMT 232 X, one out of four different sterilization times can be selected, the units of the FA class offer preselected programs with an automatic, microprocessor-controlled program sequence, including an automatic feed water out of the reservoir.
Safety included
All HMT steam sterilizers are equipped with an overpressure protection switch, a safety valve and an overheating protection switch. The door is locked manually by a turning bolt. As a matter of course, the unit is equipped with a water-level monitor for the reservoir and the sterilization chamber, using a visible and audible warning message in case of low water.

DOUBLE-DOOR, PASS-THROUGH LABORATORY AUTOCLAVES – CIRCULAR SECTION (380/415V, 10.5kW)
Where a clean room or containment suite is being installed it is often an advantage to install a through-wall autoclave to ensure containment. Priorclave manufacture Pass-through autoclaves with circular chambers in 150L and 200L capacities. Double Door Priorclaves have interlocks to prevent both doors being open at the same time as this would breach the integrity of the site. They also have an interlock to prevent the door at the unloading end from being opened until the sterilisation cycle has been successfully completed and the load is safe to pass into the unloading end.
Pass-through Priorclaves include all the features of the Front Loading Range.
Priorclave are pleased to offer our uniquely comprehensive design and advisory service to help you to correctly specify and design and autoclave to suit your particular requirements.
Each site is different with the requirement for doors to be hinged to swing in different directions and with the location of the required services. Final manufacture therefore requires full details of the proposed location and operation routines. This can be achieved by a site survey by one of our representatives or by the supply of detailed drawings.

Designed For Your Application - Three configurations are available to suit your specific temperature and cycle time requirements. Operating Temperatures to 320° C equate to shortened cycle times which result in higher throughput, higher production rates and lower overall cost; allowing you to use a smaller oven for a given level of production. In addition, the internal air supply panels distribute heat very evenly, resulting in dense loading capabilities and a high capacity per square foot of floor space.
Cycle times can be as short as 1 1/2 hours when equipped with Ultra Performance Filters and 2 1/2 hours when equipped with High Performance Filters. A unique mounting system for the HEPA filters reduces particulate concentrations and stress from thermal expansion and contraction. Despatch guarantees ISO Class 5 condition for all oven configurations throughout the cycle.
Optional touchscreen controls with an Allen Bradley PLC are powerful, yet easy to use. The system collects data for process validation, monitors operations relative to control limits, and communicates with external data processing equipment.
Thorough IQ, OQ and SQ validation packages minimize the time and effort required for installation, start-up and validation (available as an option.)

New OPAL range of laboratory autoclaves
This entry-level, four option range starts with a 35L Bench-top model and includes 55L and 95L top loading models. A 125L Bench-top model with optional mounting stand completes the range.
They have been specifically designed to perform everyday laboratory autoclaving functions such as growth media preparation and laboratory waste sterilisation. It is intended to enable laboratories, with a more basic need, to perform these operations within their own laboratory to specific requirements, without unnecessary expenditure on additional functions and control systems often fitted as standard on today's autoclaves, for more exacting procedures.
All autoclaves in the range feature automatic free steaming and a thermal safety lock and are managed by a slimmed down version of Priorclave's tried and tested TACTROL microprocessor control system. They will operate up to 138oC - 2.4 Bar.
The models are based around Priorclave's existing product range and so are fully compliant and CE marked in accordance with the European Pressure Equipment Directive (97/23/EC) and other relevant directives and standards.

HMC Steam sterilizers HG 50 / HG 80
Simply press a button to open and close. However, the lid is not just opened and closed. At first it is only opened for about three inches - the first surge of steam is able to escape - then the lid is completely opened and the internal space is ready to use. While the lid is moving to the closing position, it pauses shortly before it is completely shut. When the lid is in the final position, the lock is automatically bolted. The bolt is monitored by two independent safety systems. Thus, it is impossible to open the lock unintentionally if it is under pressure.
Sophisticated yet economical functionality
A large illuminated program display and easy to operate the HG series fulfils every requirement of modern sterilization units and all wishes of the user regarding functionality and comfort. And all that at a sensationally low price!
Clearly arranged
The large program display makes operation simple and instantly shows the most important parameters:
- Sterilizing temperature and pressure
- Sterilization time
- Remaining time until program end is reached
Configurated
3 preselected programs each for:
- Liquids
- AGAR sterilization, including a residual heat cycle
- Solids
- Steam pot programs
Special programs, e.g. for Durham tubes, can be selected without any problems. Timer-controlled night-time program.
