Uniquely engineered to dampen torsional vibration, handle unavoidable misalignment, and resist catastrophic failure. Continuing our long-standing tradition of developing products that improve the performance and total cost efficiency of our customers’ operations, we are proud to offer a complete family of DODGE® couplings. Exclusive to Baldor Electric Company and our DODGE brand, these couplings include product features and performance capabilities that increase bore size, improve torque capacity, speed installation, reduce maintenance, and lower the total cost of ownership.
No other manufacturer can offer you the variety of coupling designs, sizes, and options we can. Neither can any other supplier provide you with the
knowledge and experience we have gained from 100-plus years of application expertise. We were the first to develop the industry’s only elastomeric shear-type coupling—the original DODGE PARAFLEX®—and we remain the only resource today who can offer you a five-year limited warranty on couplings in the elastomeric family.
With DODGE and Baldor Electric Company, you get elastomeric or metallic coupling solutions you can trust from a time-tested supplier. With their built-in ability to solve problems, DODGE couplings can withstand the toughest applications and processes, performing reliably and efficiently long after other couplings have failed.

David Brown has a range of Flexible Coupling solutions to meet our Customer’s requirements for integration into our gearboxes or to supply on a replacement basis.
Flexible couplings are devices used to connect two shafts together so that power can be transmitted the type of coupling needed depends on the power transmitted. The main aims of couplings are to Connect Gearboxes to motors or gearboxes to a Customer’s Application. David Brown couplings are easy to connect and disconnect and transmit the full power from one shaft to another and are able to compensate for all types of Shaft Misalignment.

The motion control market segment is unique by itself where it is all about small, precision and repeatability. Lovejoy has done it right by addressing these distinctive needs with its expanded line of motion control couplings, in a variety of different styles, including Beam, Oldham, Mini-Jaw, Bellows, Mini-Soft, Mini-Disc and Curved Jaw.
With a wide selection, Lovejoy motion control couplings spans multiple market segments with zero backlash requirements, including printing, pharmaceuticals, semiconductor, packaging, robotics and metal cutting machine tools, to name a few.
For harsh environments, maximum temperature tolerances on some styles reach 300F. High-speed operations can look to the GS Curved Jaw mini- coupling, with a maximum 31,800 RPM. While the Bellows clamp style coupling specifically addresses higher torque and bore capacities. Companies will find the Lovejoy motion control coupling line is competitively priced, to help OEM’s and other businesses maintain a stable price structure in an increasingly challenging economic environment.

Norelem still enriches its offer by industrial components by proposing new couplings (range 23000).
Coupling 23012 monobloc without bellows tolerates an axial and side shift important being able to support to 10.000 turns per minutes. This coupling has a great tolerance of positioning while transmitting high torques and it allows, for example, to recover the shift between the engine and the screw ball.
Reference 23002 from its miniature format (Ø16 with Ø41mm) and its radial screw tightening, offers a considerably reduced set-up time and this even in the least accessible places.
It is also the case of reference 23022 with elastomer to claw. This coupling includes/understands a hub with radial tightening which facilitates the assembly in reduced spaces

Flexible Beam Couplings
Various Ruland Flexible Beam Couplings
Three series of zero backlash flexible beam couplings are available with inch and metric bores and outside diameters ranging from 3/8" (10mm) to 1 1/2" (38mm). Couplings in all three series are machined from a single piece of aluminum and feature multiple spiral cuts. The multiple cut design provides higher torque capabilities and greatly reduced wind-up when compared to a commodity type single beam coupling.
The flexible beam 2 coupling (P-series) and flexible beam 3 coupling(F-series) each have two sets of spiral slots, a feature that provides superior parallel misalignment capabilities compared to the single beam coupling. Angular misalignment, axial motion and any combination of all three types of misalignment are also easily accommodated by the beam coupling. Ruland clamp style flexible beam couplings have the additional benefit of dynamic balancing, due to the unique configuration of the socket head cap screws.
Ruland F-series 6 Beam CouplingsA flexible beam coupling should be used in an application in which misalignment exists between the two shafts being coupled. The flexible beam 3 coupling is ideal for light duty power transmission applications such as coupling a servo motor to a lead screw in a motion control system. This coupling features a larger body size and stronger beams to provide high torque capacity and very low windup, while not sacrificing misalignment capabilities. The demanding nature of reversing servo applications make the performance benefits delivered by the Flexible beam-3 vital to maintaining the accuracy, repeatability and reliability of the system.

Lovejoy’s CJ Series provides to the world market highly reliable curved jaw coupling for light, medium and heavy duty electric motor and internal gas combustion engine applications. The GS Series provides a coupling solution for the motion control industry which continues Lovejoy's long history of being the world's premier coupling supplier.
The three-piece design incorporates a radial curvature to the jaw face and both radial and axial curvature (crowning) to the elastomer (spider). The curved jaw hubs are offered in sintered iron, steel, aluminum, cast and nodular iron materials. The CJ Series curved jaw coupling and the variety of urethane elements allows for angular, parallel, and axial misalignment. A simple three-piece design, makes it easy to assemble. Unlike some metallic coupling designs, the CJ Series design requires no lubrication. When assembled, the CJ Series offers no metal to metal contact of parts. The elastomer in compression design offers the benefit of continuing to function even after the elastomeric ele¬ment fails (fail-safe design). The torque range of the CJ Series product is 7.5 to 28,000 Nm. Lovejoy offers the CJ Series in a range of prod¬uct with finished stock metric bores and keyways as well as with metric bores on a made-to¬ order basis.

Jaw Couplings
Various Jaw Couplings
The zero backlash jaw coupling is comprised of an elastic "spider" and two hubs. The spider, made of an advanced polyurethane material, provides dampening of impulse loads, minimizing shock to the motor and other sensitive equipment. Available in two durometers, these spiders allow the user to customize the jaw coupling's performance. Selecting a soft spider will give the jaw coupling the greatest dampening characteristics, while a hard spider will provide the greatest torsional stiffness and strength. All jaw coupling spiders are press fit onto a curved jaw profile, assuring zero backlash operation. The curved jaw profile concentrates the forces to the center of the spider's limbs, improving the effectiveness of the elastomer material. Raised contact points on the spider limbs help maintain proper spacing between the two hubs, assuring electrical isolation and full angular misalignment capabilities. The Jaw coupling is considered fail safe because, if the spider fails, the jaws of the two hubs interlock allowing direct power transmission, allowing the application to be safely shut down for maintenance.
