The "quick couplings" of the 1000 series have been studied into their dimensional structure (thickness and dimensions) as well as their main characteristic (the fitting cone with its unique barb shape) in order to satisfy the requirements of the field of work, that is pneumatic plant.
The compression cone with its unique barb shape ensures a good grip on the tube even if the nut is tightened by hand.
In this range of remarkable interest are the fittings called "Swivel", they satisfy the most varied and complicated assembly requirements as it is possible to turn the bodies at 360 degrees compared to the bases.
Fittings are available in the following size:
tube from 4/2,7 to up 15/12,5;
thread of 1/8 to 1/2.

· Vented safety couplings with recoil dampening—Disconnect in two stages, in order to vent the coupling, minimize risk of component separation, reduce noise, and prevent recoil accidents; available in five popular series up to 232 PSI (16 bar)
· Couplings with added locking feature—Require operator to deliberately disengage the nipple from the coupling, preventing unintentional disconnection

All components, including gripper, are in stainless steel Aisi 316L, which allows long-life performances. The o-ring is in FPM FDA approved.

SMC Series Subminiature Couplings
The SMC Subminiature Coupling is Colder Products’ smallest coupling. This twist-to-connect coupling provides a reliable and more secure alterative to luer-type connections.
