Transair Fittings for Aluminum Pipe install fast and with minimal tooling. Ail Transair fittings are
designed to securely fit around Transair aluminum pipe, increasing system efficiency and preventing compressed air leaks. Transair fittings corne in a variety of styles for easy assembly
and layout design of compressed air, vacuum, and industrial/inert gas systems. Ail Transair components can integrate into existing copper or steel systems, allowing for easy expansion of
an existing system.
The -full bore" design of Transair fittings, paired with the low coefficient of friction in the aluminum pipe ensures optimal flow throughout the compressed air system. Ail fittings are 100% recyclable, silicone free, and made from materials with no propagation of flame. Ail
fittings conform to the UL94HB standard. Parker Hannifin warrants ail Transair components to be free of defects in material and workmanship for 10 years from the date of installation.
Transair 1/2" (16.5mm), 1” (25mm), and 1-1/2" (40mm) fittings use push-to-connect technology.
Ail fittings ship from the factory pre-torqued and marked. To install, just push the pipe into the
fitting until the insertion mark meets the end of the fitting. There is no need to tighten the nut of the fitting further. Ail 1/2” 1", and 1-1/2"; pipes corne from the factory with the insertion depth pre-marked, but if field cutting is required, the insertion depth needs to be marked using a Transair marking tool.
