Transair 1/2" (16.5mm), 1” (25mm), and 1-1/2" (40mm) fittings use push-to-connect technology. Ail fittings ship from the factory pre-torqued and marked. To install, just push the pipe into the fitting until the insertion mark meets the end of the fitting. There is no need to tighten the nut of the fitting further. Ail 1/2” 1", and 1-1/2"; pipes corne from the factory with the insertion depth pre-marked, but if field cutting is required, the insertion depth needs to be marked using a Transair marking tool.
