Good reasons for this automation:
No radial forces have an effect on the shaft of the fitting.
This saves as well as the bearing and the packet
With the hollow shaft design or an adapter hub the required
Eckart rotary actuator can adapted to every Zwick high performance flap
Very fast control times (e.g. 90° in 0.2 seconds) can be realized
By the optimal end cushioning of the Eckart rotary actuator the
closing stop position of the fitting is also saved
The regulation of the volume flows is very simple and repeating exact
No additional lubrication is necessary

| Electric linear actuators, also called thrust drives, are mostly applied to automate globe valves. They are also suitable for the operation of butterfly valves with lever arrangements. AUMA linear actuators consist of the combination of a multi-turn actuator SA and a linear thrust unit LE. |
|
| AUMA multi-turn actuators of the type SA operate reliably in various industries worldwide for OPEN-CLOSE as well as modulating service. One of the main applications lies in the automation of gate valves and globe valves. A multitude of further applications are possible in combination with valve gearboxes (worm, bevel and spur gearboxes). |

G Series:
A unique Scotch Yoke design incorporating a 5 degree off set in the scotch yoke mechanism which enables the maximum torque to be delivered at the closed position. This is ideal for butterfly valves, where the maximum torque is required at the seat break in and break out positions. The G series actuator range meets the latest Atex requirements and is produced in an ISO 9001: 2000 factory. Full traceability is available with each actuator, and a wide range of options are available. The standard G Series range has 15 Double acting and 15 Spring return Models and covers the Tomoe Valve range from DN40 - DN600.
Other models:
To fully complement the characteristics of the Tomoe butterfly valve design, a full range of Rack Pinion and Vane type actuators are available. All are sized to match the low torque benefits offered by the Tomoe seat design. |
