The VMP Variable Displacement
Dispenser is a fully programmable
dispensing system, which utilizes FMI’s
patented CeramPump® Valveless piston
pump design. A precision stepper motor
controls the pump speed.
However, what makes the VMP truly
unique from other FMI dispensers is the
addition of a second stepper motor, which
electronically adjusts the piston
displacement. This provides ultra-fine
dispense adjustments through varying of
piston stroke length.
The VMP can be programmed for a variety of functions using a user-friendly Touch Screen Interface (TSI) which can control up to 16 pumps on a single bus. Up to 128 metering devices
can be controlled using a PLC or computer.
The VMP will store up to 100 programs letting you change between setups on the fly. For UV applications, the pump head is made from either 316 stainless steel or opaque PVDF to isolate UV light from the process fluid as it travels through the pump head.

The S 703 is a weighing machine for filling small product quantities with a speed of up to 25 fillings per minute. Adapted for semi-automatic volumetric dispensing operations, the new mta CD cartridge dispenser is electronically controlled allowing setting of the volume to be dispensed. The CD can be integrated into the platform of mta’s TR 300 table-top robot based on 3 fully programmable numerical axes or on a pneumatic station.
Compared to time/pressure-systems, the CD offers significant advantages:
- Higher precision achieved via the stepper motor.
- Process-security: the plunger is always in contact with the piston of the dispenser. No air cushion between the material and the plunger can occur.
- Independent of product viscosity – a constant force is applied to the material.

Satellite Paste Applicators are designed to complement an existing heat source, such as furnace or induction. These freestanding units apply single, multiple, or "ring shape" paste deposits onto assemblies. Cycling is automatic and error-free with an operator removing the pasted part and loading it into the adjoining heat source.
Applicator guns can also be mounted to a robot to apply a detailed combination of paste dots and stripes to a particular part. After the pasting cycle, the part is joined to its companion members and fixtured to the subsequent heating and cooling sequence.
Dual station system utilizes rotating mandrel technique to apply 360° stripe of Fusion Paste onto part joint area.

The ingredient is dosed in a small swiveling bowl fitted on an accurate load cell. Sensitive parts as motor reducer and scale are installed in a protective casing.
The integrated batch controller optimizes coarse and fine feeding with automatic tolerance control.
