The Atlas™ is Magnetrol’s subsidiary Orion Instrument’s standard, high performance magnetic level indicator. Atlas is a single chamber design with either 2", 2.5", or 3" chamber diameter, as required by the application. There are twelve basic configuration styles including top mount models. Special configurations are also available.
Atlas magnetic level indicators are produced in a wide range of materials of construction, including plastics. Orion also offers one of the most complete selections of process connection types and sizes in the industry.
Atlas may be equipped with a variety of level transmitters and switches as well as flag and shuttle indicators with or without stainless steel scales. This enables the Atlas to be a complete level and monitoring control.

Radar EM540: the suitable solution for tank barges, inland river and ocean going vessels
The 8" EM540 radar is especially designed to be integrated within a dedicated cargo monitoring system for inland river or ocean going vessels and tank barges.
The EM540 radar is based on the use of smart sensors including microprocessors performing signal processing. In addition to transmitting tank level, pressure, and temperature data to the central monitoring system, it offers such capabilities as self-diagnostics, self-monitoring and remote configuring.
The use of an intrinsically safe two-way digital signal transmission, between the radar and the central monitoring system, provides for an easy integration of the EM540 Radar into any type of control system. |

Enraf’s SmartRadar FlexLine combines modern technology with maximum flexibility. The basis for this is formed within Enraf’s new FlexConn architecture which enables the tank gauging system to precisely synchronize with your application environments and requirements.
The complete digital signal processing technology, the optimum connectivity and the compact, innovative planar antennas make the SmartRadar FlexLine the ultimate measuring system.
Not only does the SmartRadar FlexLine prove its flexibility on installation, but also the level measuring system has no equal. Our new Enhanced Performance Signal processing makes it possible to measure level with extreme precision under the most difficult circumstances! |
|
Enraf introduced the automatic servo level gauging technology in the mid-fifties. Soon thereafter, we introduced the first automatic level gauge for bulk liquid storage tanks was be certified by leading Weights & Measures authorities.
The latest version is the unique Advanced Tank Gauge with only a few moving parts. The ATG and XTG series microprocessor-controlled servo gauges are compact and need only a 2" mounting flange.
The Enraf Servo gauge provides optimal measuring performance in any application, and can easily be integrated with existing SmartRadar, hydrostatic, or hybrid gauging installations.
Innovative ideas are geared towards user satisfaction. After more than 45 years, Enraf is still the driving force in tank gauging. |

One instrument, three functions: level indicator, level switch, and level transmitter !
WEKA Magnetic Flag Level Indicators provide three important functions in a single instrument, independently of one another: level indicator, level switch (user adjustable over the full range), and level transmitter with electrical signal output. The visual readout does not require electric power supply for its functioning, and indicates liquid level in a vessel through a directly-connected chamber, based on the phenomenon of a liquid having the same level in connected vessels. Level readout is guaranteed in all circumstances. These level instruments are therefore ideal for use during commissioning stages, as well as for back-up functions in process plants.

Continuous level measurement over a measuring range of up to 8 meters
The Tower-Sens is a rod detector based on the well-known level gauging system LB 490 Uni-Probe. It has been designed specifically to monitor large measuring ranges.
With only one electronic unit and only one flameproof-housing, the Tower-Sens is significantly more economical than systems comprising several short, cascading detectors. Moreover, the wiring efforts and the risk of complete system failure are drastically reduced.
The combination of good value, reliability, accuracy and low source activity make the Tower-Sens the ideal solution for measuri |

Magnetic floats
Magnetic floats are used to detect dynamic fluid levels, either as single floats in homogeneous media or as interface level detectors in fluids with different densities.
Magnetic floats have a magnet inside and are placed on a guiding rod. For interface level detection, several floats can be placed on one single guiding rod.
The magnetic float actuates the detection circuit either by means of a reed contact or - for a more accurate reading - a magnetostrictive sensor.
We produce both magnetic switches for reed contacts and magnetic floats for magnetostrictive sensors |
|
Magnetostrictive fluid level measurement
To measure liquid levels using magnetic floats, an electronic detection device is necessary.
There are two common detection methods that use either reed contacts or magnetostrictive devices. When reed contacts are used, these are located within the guiding rod. Magnetostrictive devices, on the other hand, use variations in the magnetic field to detect the position of the float, which gives far more accurate readings than a reed contact. |
