Stand-on stackers have the same functions as pedestrian models. The operator stands on a platform while using the stacker; optional side arms are also available. This platform allows greater visibility and speed while transporting and lifting the cargo. The controls of the stacker are on a central tiller arm for the convenience of the operator.
These machines are generally used in warehousing for the loading, unloading and transporting of pallets. Stand-on stackers offer the advantage of optional platform for greater speed. However, they also can be used as pedestrian stackers in tight spaces.
These stackers are battery-powered with a platform for the operator to stand on, plus side arms for operator security. Similar to other products in the stacker family, stand-on versions have front forks attached to the mast which lift the pallets. The controls are on a central tiller arm, with an emergency stop button on the central panel. Stackers are available with straddle or standard legs.
The maximum load plus the distances to be covered are important factors to be considered. The optional side arms and operator platform make the stacker very versatile.
