Liebisch desk type units are supplied with 300 litre test chamber volume. They are used for condensation water tests with or without pollution gas (e.g. DIN EN ISO 6270-2, DIN 50018). Options are available to meet customer test requirements.
Constanzo®
These units are available with or without automatic ventilation. With the automatic ventilation the user needn’t open the test chamber door during ventilation periods. Ambient air passes through the test chamber. The test chamber temperature range is max. 50°C, the increased operating temperature system (EA) allows a temperature of up to 60°C

Since the real corrosive environment changes from day to day (or faster), labs expose samples to various environmental stresses that promote corrosion. There are two main types of xenon arc instrument, water cooled and air cooled. The type of cooling has only a negligible effect on the spectral output of the lamp, but does have an influence on the overall design and on the optical filtering system. Atlas Fade-Ometers and Weather-Ometers use water-cooled xenon arc exclusively; the Atlas Xenotest instruments and the Atlas SUNTEST exposure units use air-cooled xenon lamps.

Atlas has updated the SUNTEST XLS+ weathering device based on customer feedback and industry requirements. One important enhancement is the new, digitally controllable specimen spray, which turns the XLS from a lightfastness testing device into a full fledged weathering instrument. Operation and control are now possible via touch screen similar to the operation of stand alone Atlas instruments. The user-selectable language options are unique for this class of weathering device. In addition to German, English, French, and Spanish, users can select from the following languages: Dutch, Italian, Turkish, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean.
The SUNTEST XLS unit has proven over the past years to be the benchmark-testing instrument for many applications. The objective of artificial weathering is to reproduce real life product failures in a laboratory under accelerated and reproducible conditions. Fluorescent UV lamps are one light source used to simulate specific solar spectral power distributions. These sources are incorporated into fluorescent UV condensation devices like the UVTest. These systems designed on the basis of the well-proven modules of the VT and VC series with enhanced heating, cooling and air circulating efficiency, create the required high temperature changing rates on test specimens and, if necessary, in combination with electrical stress. Additionally, PGC’s SmartPad microprocessor controller is a user-friendly system that provides optimum accuracy and control. The SmartPad is equipped with direct readings in both temperature and humidity. It also features 40-segment programming for automatic cycling and ramping and soaking excursions. High-low or deviation alarms as well as digital communications ports are standard features.
The interior chamber is constructed of very durable, corrosion resistant stainless steel. Low watt density heaters are used that also contribute to the unit’s longer life.
Should your application require it, the chamber airflow can be factory configured from the standard horizontal flow to vertical. Other options include extended ranges, chart recorders, a window in the outer door, and a clear inner door with optional iris opening. System includes free logging software.
